I was reading today’s Berita Harian about the “excuses” given by a certain wedding planner that resulted in embarrassment, anger and downright unhappiness for all parties involved.
My heart goes out to the wedding couples who got burnt with this experience. Take comfort that a wedding is a 1 day experience and remember that you still have years of marriage ahead of you. Your life will go on regardless of the wedding fiasco. Who knows you can celebrate your 10th year anniversary in style – Insya-Allah!
Moving forward, what can we learn from this experience?
It seems that this particular wedding planner has done a lot of marketing through wedding shows at expo. However, it seems that it was just hype and over-promises with sweet words
thrown in.
Apparently, this wedding vendor has bad reputation since last year. With some background check and researching, this incident could have been avoided easily.

Future grooms and brides – please take note that you need to be aware of who you are paying your hard-earned dollars to.
That being said, please be wary when the prices quoted are too low. Be honest to yourself – what type of quality will you get when you pay cheap prices?
